October Coastal Canine

Meet Cover-Dog –and Birthday Girl– Stevie

Just like the white winged dove, sings a song, sounds like she's singing, Ooh, ooh, ooh”*

Stevie's person tells us that she has been absolute amazing addition to their family. She might be easily excitable and often comes in hot, but she doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She is curious and cuddly (see below) and loves spending time with her two dads.

Stevie is a Halloween baby and turns one this year. She loves riding shotgun in her Jeep and her daily walks on Upper Harrison, especially when she runs into her pals Maisy and Luna along the way. Stevie is no one's performing monkey, but she has mastered 'sit' and 'up' and is the queen of finding sticks and lost tennis balls. Her fave treats (weird but true) are cucumbers and kale stalks.

Have a spooky kale stalk on us, Birthday Girl!

*Stevie Nicks, of course. If your coastal canine (or other Pacific Pet) would care to be featured in The Watershed, please forward a cover-ready glamour shot and bio to editor@lionsbaywatershed.ca

Happy birthday Stevie! She has the best dog smile on Mountain Drive.
