Local Indigenous artisans demonstrate and sell their work
Looking for a way to celebrate local Indigenous culture? The Museum of North Vancouver (MONOVA) is hosting an Indigenous Artisan Market this weekend, featuring beadwork, t-shirts, carving, bannock, jewellery, weaving and more.
The market will be held at the museum on Friday, August 9 from 2 to 4:45 p.m. and on Saturday, August 10 from 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m, and admission is free of charge.
Regular admission fees apply to museum galleries.
This season, MONOVA is also presenting 'Found in the Mountains'. This feature gallery exhibit takes a look at the many faces of North Vancouver’s mountains, and how they shape the way locals live, play and connect.
