Villagers embraced a rare sunny morning January 1, and welcomed the new year with a dip in the still-admittedly freezing waters of Howe Sound. Big shout out to the events committee for organizing, and to the Lions Bay Firefighters for overseeing the cosy bonfire on the beach. Happy New Year!
