Coastal Canines

Meet Bowen and Daisy, our April coverdogs!

Bowen is four and Daisy is three. Their person, Christine Little, sent in a whole collection of cover-worthy photos, but this cuddle shot was irresistible.

Bowen is a Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) and Daisy prefers to keep her origins mysterious. Daisy's superpower, however, is napping. She will get up to eat, walk, and say hello to her friends, but nothing else is worth giving up her beauty sleep. However, she does have a very accurate internal clock and gives her person a "rowr rowr rowr rowwwwwwr" when it is time for breakfast, chewie, walk, and dinner. Her favourite toy is any new toy, but only for about 10 minutes. Then she's over it. Her favourite walk is down Soundview, specifically the muddy bit by the bridge where Upper Harrison connects. She is an expert sniffer and stops to ensure the validity of every single fern on the trail.

Bowen, on the other hand, is a trickster. She's a working girl and loves to follow commands. Her specialty is 'Figure 8'. She suffers from FOMO (fear of missing out...) and her biggest challenge is grasping that her person must work all day in order to afford Bowen's champagne taste in toys and treats. Bowen's favourite game is chasing toys thrown up the stairs, then tossing them down again. She will chase a tennis ball for an hour if permitted. Her favourite walk is EVERY WALK. She loves being out on the trails.

Thanks for giving us a peek into your lives today, Daisy and Bowen. See you in the woods!
