Coastal Canine Coco

Meet our May cover-dog!

Coco owes his unique look to a background that includes Presa Canario on his dad's side and Shepsky from his mama.

He's known around the neighbourhood as a bit of an escape artist, and is incredibly loveable. One of his favourite jobs is cleaning his people's faces with a special kiss before dinner. He also has a talent for destroying in minutes any toy that claims to be tough or dog-proof, spreading its entrails across the living room floor.

He is especially good at barking at dangerous intruders (including birds, bees and bugs), and loses his mind when faced with bears and racoons.

Coco loves walks with his special person at the Ambleside off-leash dog park and at Kelvin Grove. If walking on a beach, he is also inclined to supplement his diet with sea water.

We'd fill a fresh water bowl for you any day, Coco!
