Coastal Canine

Meet Rusty, our March coverdog!

This gent with the handsome profile is Rusty. Back in the day, his mama was a street dog, so he came by his anxiety and his fear of strangers and most other dogs naturally.

Rusty has got a few furry and human friends he can safely walk with, but he reacts to most other dogs with barking and lunging. If you see Rusty lurking behind a car or down a driveway, know that he's there to avoid a bark-fest.

At home, he is happy and secure sleeping in his numerous dog beds, following his dog house mate around, barking at the parrot when she misbehaves and playing his 'hide the squeaky ball in the blanket and try to find it' game.

Give that hedgehog a cuddle for us, Rusty!
