Meet Memphis, our July coverdog!
Memphis is seven years old, and loves humans and poodles. His dating profile lists 'brunettes only', since the sole blonde in his life is his best pal Chilco.
He is fiercely protective of his home and his two dads, and has chased a bear up Oceanview to prove it.
Always prepared, Memphis removes one kibble from his dinner before eating, saving it to eat by the front door when he is finished. Obviously, this is in case energy is required for a potential bear incursion. He also completes a daily training exercise with a piece of fake cheese, which he hides in random spots around the house. If the cheese comes to light, Memphis will immediately re-hide it, buried in invisible dirt.
While Memphis loves his cuddles and his walks, he is an adventurer at heart. He adores travel in all forms – in cars, on boats or bikes or planes. Whatever adventure awaits, we wish you bon voyage, Memphis!
